About Obertauern

Oberteuern, situated in the south-east of the state of Salzburg at heights of between 1,630 and 2,526 metres, is one of the biggest skiing centres in Austria. It is famous for it’s superb snow record, lots of activities besides skiing, good choice of ski-in / ski-out lodging, nice restaurants and lively après. There are around 100 km of well-groomed pistes with 26 modern lifts available (1 gondola, 19 chair lifts and 6 drag lifts).Apart from skiing and snowboarding in the mountains, Obertauern offers 26 km of cross-country skiing tracks, 3 km long snow park with 40 elements for a complete freestyle fun, snow-shoe-hiking, and more.
